1. Who we are
PriorDent is operated by Paul Havrilets. We build dental claim authorization intelligence tools for healthcare clinics and FQHCs. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@priordent.com.
2. Shadow-test mode — important notice
PriorDent currently operates in shadow-test mode. Do not enter real patient names, initials, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, insurance IDs, chart numbers, or any label that can be linked back to a patient. Use synthetic data or opaque anonymized labels only.
This platform is not currently intended to process real protected health information (PHI). Clinic staff are responsible for ensuring that any data entered remains de-identified.
3. What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform:
- Account data — your name, clinic name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Clinic workspace data — case information entered by your clinic staff, such as procedure codes, payer identifiers, and clinical notes. In shadow-test mode this must be de-identified.
- Usage data — standard server logs (page loads, feature interactions, error events) used to maintain and improve the service. We do not use third-party advertising analytics.
4. AI processing
Case data submitted for analysis is transmitted to Anthropic PBC's API for processing. Users must not submit real PHI through this platform. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle API inputs. We do not store AI model inputs or outputs beyond what is needed to display your results.
5. Data storage and retention
Case data is stored within your clinic's workspace in our database. You can delete individual cases at any time from within the app. Account data is retained until you request account deletion by contacting us at info@priordent.com. We will complete deletion requests within 30 days.
6. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with subprocessors required to operate the service (such as our database and AI API provider), and only to the extent necessary.
7. HIPAA notice
PriorDent is designed for use with de-identified data in its current phase and is not approved for PHI processing at this time. Clinics are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable HIPAA requirements when using this platform. A Business Associate Agreement may be executed only after required subprocessors, technical controls, and compliance review are complete.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies or behavioral advertising technology.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.
